EspressReport ES v4.6 New Features
- Replace Column Data:
This feature for the menu page and quick designer
allows users to replace column data at run time. A useful application of this feature
is to decrypt secure data immediately before a privileged user runs the report in the menu page
or quick designer. At the same time, the decryption function is securely hidden from the user.
- Drawing Charts using Aggregation Data:
Charts in reports can now display
the corresponding aggregation values in a summary break, crosstab and master detail report
based on the location of the chart. This feature, available in both report designer and
quick designer, allows users to create charts using aggregation data from multiple groups.
- Security in Relationship Diagram:
The group/user relationship diagram in
administrator console will now display the security level of the user or group.
- Restructured Privileges
Users with viewer privileges can now use the quick designer to
create ad hoc reports.
- Language Translation Utility:
A visual editing tool is added to allow users
to easily translate the user interfaces to a specific languages.
- Improved Search Tool:
The new user guide search tool makes finding help as easy
as typing in the keyword and clicking go.
