The following gallery contains examples of different types of reports that can be created
with EspressReport, and illustrates many of the available features. API examples
illustrate some of the programmatic controls that are available in EspressReport.
The API examples in the gallery are all applet/application based. For examples using
servlet/JSP architecture look under the help/examples/servlet & help/examples/jsp
directories of your installation.
To view reports in an applet, you will need to have EspressManager running. Also, some reports, use the HSQL database that comes with the installation as the data source. To view these examples in an applet, you will need to add the database driver to the EspressManager classpath. For instructions on setting up the database, see the Quick Start Guide. For instructions on starting EspressManager see the Designer Guide. |
